Robert is Rachz

Aly is mine :D)
----

"Do you even like Mexican food...?" the man questioned quietly, leaning over the table to his female companion who was staring blankly at the options on the menu. She looked up at him with a faint smile, truthfully Alyssa hated Mexican food, they always had strangely named things that she was pretty sure wouldn't like. Her smile only faintly fluttered from her face, but she nodded . Crossing her legs beneath the table.

"Yes...? Why?" she questioned quietly before turning her eyes back to the menu. She ruffled her brow, lightly bouncing her leg since they were crossed. She had taken off her left heal, seeing as with her legs crossed this way the shoe would fall off anways. She continued to look over the menu written in several languages. She was just happy that they finally had some free time. Times had been hectic, and all Alyssa wanted to do was be with Robert. He was working so much since he got his arm fixed, and their work times had been conflicting terribly. She didn't want to say she didn't like the place, because Robert had picked it out. She rested the menu down, flustered about what she was going to do. She turned to Robert with a fond smile, though he was still watching her carefully.

"You don't like Mexican." he frowned leaning back in his chair. Aly sighed and took his hand in hers and stroked it lovingly.

"I'd like it if I knew what I was eating...You order for me then." she said, though she thought it wasn't wise to ask Robert to do that. Though her taste was perfered simple, he'd get her something outrageously complicated. But she brought his hand to her face and nuzzled it. Robert smiling quietly at the young blonde, cupping her face in his hand. Alyssa turned a little pink, she aways loved the way Robert looked at her. He really loved her... She kissed the palm of his hand and her hand his fingers gently through his hair. Hesitantly her foot slid against his thigh, and Robert flinched. She glanced at him kissing his hand gently, "On second thought...I don't think I like mexican food." she murmmered against his hand quietly. She could feel Robert physically shivver as her foot slided between his legs. He stood abruptly,

"Then, let's take our leave." he cleared his throat, offering and arm for her as he came to stand beside her. She took it, draping her jacket over her arm. Without a word to the attendance they left, marching out the door. The sun had yet to set, in fact it wasn't going to any time soon. Quickly and quietly the pair made it back to the car. Slipping in to their respective sides quietly Robert started the car, disabling the navigator with Erica's voice, because, well it wasn't really the time for that. Aly's unusual behavior was something he hadn't seen in her for...quite some time. Their free time had been limited and even he felt the tension between them at times. Everytime they were together one of them seemed to be hospitalized. Freed from this, Alyssa wasn't exactly being patient. He managed to buckle his seat belt when he felt Alyssa's hands slip between his legs, he gripped the stearing wheel. "We're a block away." he muttered quietly, nearly pealing out of the parking lot causing Alyssa to giggle childishly.

"I know... she smiled running her hand down his leg before dragging it back up again. Robert's stomach tensed and he nearly didn't hit the breaks.

"We're going to get in an a-accident if you keep doing that." Robert commented swallowing the lump in his throat and giving Aly a pleading look. He didn't want that, and from her sudden paled expression and the withdrawing of her hand, neither did she. The block seemed to be the longest block ever. Aly was squirming in her seat every fraction of a second, which made Rob shifted and altered around in his seat. Pulling into the apartment parking area the tension seemed to snap like a nitrogen frozen rubber band. As soon as the car had turned off completely Alyssa was practically in his lap. One hand gripping the neck of his chair, and the other between his legs, but her lips were securely fasted to his. He undid his seat belt quickly before putting her hands on her hips. "Alyssa, can't...can't you at least wait till we get upstairs..." this was what excited him about Alyssa, she was quiet and sweet near adorable, but she did have her moments. She slid herself into his lap, straddling him as best she could, he back pressing against the wheel. She frowned down at him,

"I don't want to wait...she muttered quietly leaning down and trailing her lips along his neck. "Alice...has been taking everything...from me, even you." she said quietly before nibbling on his ear. "I can't remember the last time...you've touched me like this..." she nuzzled his neck, biting gently at his neck. Robert gripped her hips tightly, he couldn't say the same. Aly and Alice didn't seem to different asides from their approach. Then again, Alice was Aly's wild side to a point. He shuddered at the thought that it was Alice he had been playing around with instead of Aly. He looked up at her and she tilted her head, blonde locks falling in her face. He was trying to convince himself now, that going upstairs would be so much better. But he couldn't seem to do it, she was grinding her hips into him and it was killing him. He reached down and slid the chair back more, leaning it back he pulled Alyssa ontop of him, out of view of possible onlookers and meshed their lips together. His hands didn't hesitate to slide up her shirt, messaging her breasts gently as she gasped in the middle of their kiss. He smiled when she flinched away from him, purring delicatly into his ear. A side though occured to him that without tinted window (which he would invset in, for future occurances) that anyone...anyone could see them.

"Aly, I've- Aly." he grabbed her attention before his fluttered away, "I can't...we can't take out clothes off..." he jestured to the windows. She seemed slightly fore lorned, but nodded her head,

"Then we'll just have to do it the clothed way..." she smirked, oh god...Robert closed his eyes. She pressed her hips down on his currently hardening erection and he opened one eye faintly at her. She had a very Aly-esque smile on, and she was Aly...she was his Aly. Her smiled and pulled her lips to his again, enjoying the taste of her mouth in his and the smooth motions of her  arching body when he moved his lips over sensitive areas. While one hand slid in her hair, momentarily subduing her his free hand slipped between her legs, pushing aside the fabric he could feel the heat radiating off of her and he pressed his forehead to hers, slightly feeling dominate, and triumphent. One finger slipped inside her causing the girl to gasp in surprise.

"R-Rob..." she lowered her head and he smiled kissing her cheek and slowly trailing them down her neck before a second digit joined the fists. A lustful moan came from the dainty blonde and her hands gripped his shoulders, he chuckled deeply in her ear, moving his finger slowly out of her getting a quiet hiss into his ear. She most likely muttered something to effect of being unfair and weakly she raised her hands to his fingers. Her lips now smeared of their color consumed his finger, gently sucking then and removing all remains of her jucies off them. Licking them delicatly, Robert's eyes had grown wide slightly, she narrowed her eyes at him, her breathing already hitched. She slide down between his legs, hastily undoing the belt and pants, not a lick of hesitation.

"A-Alyssa!" He gripped the door handle tightly, the warmth of her mouth consuming him was more then enough to send him over the edge. The way Aly teased, it was unbelieveble. She didn't everytime, but each time was tweaked and different, he was always surprised. He held his breathe as her teeth gently slid against the throbbing flesh. The cold air of her release left him to shudder before she ran her tounge all around the shaft. She gazed up at him breifly before taking him in her mouth again. The stroking and the rythm of her mouth were getting faster, and he, a man of great stamina, was finding it hard to resist. "Aly! Alyssa!" he managed to choke before he came. For a moment there was nothing but breathing. Then Alyssa's gulp, and a breath. She delicatly wiped her mouth, a smirk on her face as she slid forward,

"I like it when you say my name..." she licked her lips before kissing him on the neck. She seemed satisfied with Robert being finished, Aly was always one to please. She nuzzled his neck and Robert chuckled,

"Oh no you don't." he managed to roll her over, now hovering over her. She seemed slightly confused, blinking up at him defenclessly, like a limp puppet. He had one hand on either side of her head, their positions nearly switched in the flattened seat. She gazed up at him fondly, the word 'oh' came across her silent lips and she turned red from embaressment. Alyssa averted her gaze slightly, and Robert smiled, she was so cute. Leaning down he kissed her lips, and she didn't refuse. She placed her hands on either side of his face as her hiked up her skirt and removed her lace underwear. She was left breathless when Robert pulled away from her. He smirked, no words were needed, slowly he slid into her. Groaning as he did so, Aly's nails digging into his shoulders and her back arching  towards him as she held her breath. She exhaled when their flesh meshed, the positioning in the car didn't leave much option, but they did best with the room they had. A gentle thrust forward was her warning and she gasped,

"R-Rob!" she peeped. Quietly she whispered his named, slow steady beats began before the grew faster. The small framed Aly seemed to take most of this vicious beating rather well. Matching each manly thrust with her own rythmatic hips. Every second was a blurr to the blonde, and she was loving every minute of it. If there was anyone she wanted to be with, it was Robert...Her breathing became more sporadic as he pressed on. Her grip on him becoming slack as her arms came to grip her own chest, her head tilting back. Calling out his name, for god knew she was close to climax. "Robert...Robert..." she purred quietly, the windows were fogging and she was sure that people could tell what they were doing. Her earlier 'brilliant idea' seemed less brilliant. In a haze she came, her body contracting around Robert and tensing. Feeling the hot liquid flush over Mister Rydelle. The contraction of muscles sent Robert over the edge, releasing inside her. They didn't care...he wanted to be with her all his life. He just hoped she wished the same. He pulled from her weakly, resisting the urge to collapse on the small frame.  He collapsed next to her, being showered in kisses, Alyssa smooching the sweat away. He could feel the weak smile grazing her lips.

"I love you..." she muttered quietly, he turned his eyes to hers. Looking for some strand of lie, some sort of joke. He found none and kissed her lips fondly, gently.

"I love you too."  he smiled at her, running his hand through her hair watching her eyes close softly at the mere contact. She opened them again and went to move,

"We...should go..." her heal connected with the dashboard and the navigation system lit up.

"Hello Robert!" Alyssa turned to him and narrowed her eyes slightly. Robert smiled weakly and sheepishly.

"Sorry...I'll change that..."

Alice's Speach

Mad

Shaking the woman held the gun forward to the man with the hatter-like appearnce. The tears dropping onto her blue dress, she couldn't do it... she can't...hurt him. She let her arms lower slightly, her eyes looking at him pitifully.

"All this time...I did my best." she muttered, "I...followed you, and I fawned after you. I tried to, allow myself to believe that some day you'd see how hard I was trying to impress you. I started out...same as every girl, I flirted, and flattered. I did things for you, I was nice...But then you just...ignored me. I could wait, Ella was younger, more vibrant. I felt sorry for you...I really did. I didn't think that there was anything more terrible then that happening. I couldn't image what I were to do, should I loose
you. But I tried to be optimistic, I tried to think of it as life giving me another chance. But! BUT! No matter...how hard I tried to be there fore you...how hard I tried to make you happy, it was just never enough. You never looked at me twice! You never gave me a chance for that matter. I tried everything, I became Alice for you...I fell down the rabbit hole, and devoted myself to everything that you cared about. I wanted you...to see that I loved you, Jervis... I admit, my methods were getting brash and violent...I admit...some of my ideas weren't smart in trying to get your attention. But...I'd do anything...anything to see you look at me the way you looked at her..." she took in a shaky breath. "I'd do anything for you..." she lowered the gun by a fraction for a second time. She laughed, a tear soaked laugh, "Yes, but now...now I realize. All these times I've been blinded by my crazy need for you to love me I hadn't realized...realized just what you were trying to do." she smiled sadly at him. "I said...I would do anything for you, Jervis....anything." she raised the gun once more, but not to him, she raised it to press faintly against her own pale flesh. She finally turned her eyes to the ground, "All this time you've been trying to rid of me...and if...if that's what you want...I suppose since...I love you so much...I can oblige. I had been so blind to see it, twice you've failed to do so. How silly of me not to notice it. The fond gestures you presented at me that night. I had thought, prayed, for each and every night. I felt like there was a God, and he...was finally giving me a chance." her voice drifted and her eyes fluttered and closed, "No...not anymore...I'll rid you of the Jabberwock you fear so much...I'll rid you of it for good." she gripped the handle of the cold metal and she looked at him, "Because that's what you want." she took a breathe. "And you want me dead..."

A Devil's deed (Fic_

Mad

“Alyssa Parkes. Please step away from the edge of the building.”

That was all that could be heard in the for once dead silent city of Gotham. The sirens were whistling like a flock of angry birds, the cats joined in chorus as a death march was played. She had had enough. She was done with this, this constant living in fear of herself. She was finished, looking down from the top of their apartment building she looked like Mother Nature to the ants below. The overflowing flowers from the attempt at a roof top garden surrounding her as her toes curled over the edge of the building. Her balance threatening to give way, her mind screaming at her not to jump, but her heart telling her not to.

“Shut up!” the woman shouted the wind catching her hair and blowing it into her face, “I’m done!” she sobbed, “I’m so…so done with this.” she muttered, her arms coming to her face for a brief moment before throwing themselves back out to keep her balance, she squeaked. She flailed her arms a little, she knew if Linn was here…she would push her away from the edge…Linn was a good friend, but Robert’s condition in the hospital had just plummeted and even the normally snarky Doctor Lloyd had a blanket of worry coating his face. He used terms like rarely, unlikely, impossible even to describe Robert’s current condition. The wound was deeper then expected and the heart was damaged. The time it would take to get a heart transplant that matched Robert…he wouldn’t last long enough to see one come. She was done, once you took away the pillar the foundation did fall. She watched her tears be swept away in the wind as she stumbled.

“Alyssa Parkes, there’s no need for this to happen!” the man shouted. She shook her head.

“You don’t understand! Stop pretending you do!” she screamed, tears tearing at her voice. “You don’t get it! Everything is my fault!” she sobbed, “I get it now! I get it all. Everything with Jervis! Edward in Arkham! Robert and the bear! Gia! Doctor Crane and Linn’s troubles! EVERYTHING!” she sobbed. Which most of the above was true while others were not? “I’m connected to every problem! It’s me! I’m this…this missing link! I cause the worst of troubles!” she said she threw her arm out. And with a scream she lost her balance. She heard the gasps of the people below, the wind trying to brace her fall pushing up against her and blowing her hair all around her. She cringed waiting for impact.

“Woah, got ya.” it was a rough landing but it felt as if she were merely just tossed like a sack of potatoes from one person to another. The voice was male, and once he’d caught her he held her close. A nice warm embrace, she dared to open her eyes, looking at the face of the man who had just saved her. “You alright, told you not to play near the edge.” he smiled.

“Robert…?” she whispered. She glanced at his arm, “You’re…you’re all better…” she muttered softly. He sucked air through his teeth,

“Not really, I’m still in the hospital…Aly, you’re dead.” he said setting her down, but quickly taking a grip on her as she swayed. She looked at him before looking up, then looking to her left where her crumpled body lay curled in a broken mess. She put her hands to her mouth, backing up into Robert. She turned to him, “Shh…shh.” he wrapped her arms around her, rocking her gently. “It’s alright Aly, I won’t leave you…not yet.” he said smiling.

“W-What do…what do I do?” she asked, looking at Robert. She looked at him and he stroked her face.

“You wait, you spend you last few moments with me, and to do whatever you want before they take you to heaven.” he said inhaling deeply, taking in all that she used to be, yet still was. Her life essence.

“I’ll…have to leave you?” the feeble woman muttered, their fingers folding together. She rested her head on his chest and watched them, one finger after another fold down between two others. “Forever…?”

“Forever seems like a long time…” he muttered, looking down at her, “But it really isn’t…” he said, “Would you wait for me?”

“Y-Yes…” she muttered looking up at him, he smiled. Gently he lowered his head, like he away did, not closing that little bit until she wanted to. But she was always quick to follow. He never did anything that she didn’t want to do. He was just forceful enough to keep her on her toes. She closed the small gap when she felt his breath on her lips. She was dead, this was the last time she’d ever feel Robert anywhere near her for, she hoped, a long time. The kiss left her breathless, and he didn’t move away, just gazed towards her.

“One more time…the last time.” he said his hands moving slowly across her back in a suggestive way. She looked at him, something telling her that now was not the time to be thinking of this, the other part telling her that she’d never get another chance. When had it been just her calling his name…when had it ever been her? A few times out of the countless that he’d claimed had occurred, the nights she’d wake up with him there and she never had the memory of him getting that way. The first time, was the only true time, and then sporadically and rarely through out the middle. She’d have the last time, just her…No more black outs…no one to ruin her life.

“O…okay.” she muttered and he lowered him to her lips again, “I never…I never told you…” her voice hush, but Robert didn’t seem to care…he seemed rushed. Hands sliding under her clothes, sharp turns made her gasp and stop her from finishing her sentence. She needed to tell him. Something felt wrong as he removed her over shirt. Something was different. He was being too fast, to rash, nearly tearing off her clothing if they would let him. He was never this rough, that she could remember. Ever, even in her sporadic appearances. Either she had missed too much, or this wasn’t Robert. He had successfully removed her shirt when he shoved him away.

“You’re not Robert.” she said sternly. The man before her, panting and out of breathe gave her a look.

“Aly…Aly it is me, what are you talking about.” he muttered taking a step forward.

“No stay back.” she muttered, an arm coming across her chest to cover herself, “Robert isn’t aggressive, especially our first time and defiantly not the last. He would have taken as much time as possible-“ she hoped she wasn’t making a mistaken,”- He loved me!” she shouted. “And I loved him! I never…” she looked at her body, laying there behind her, “I never…I never got to tell him…” she muttered.

SLAM!

A red haze came over her and the imposter Robert had her to the wall by her throat, suffocating her, crushing her with one hand. He laughed a little,

“You think…your love ever cut it?” he growled, “We were this close Aly, this close to being together forever.” he growled, he pressed harder against her throat, glaring at her with yellow eyes. The voice deepening lower then Robert could have ever gone, “Your love was never enough, and the fact you never spoke it, makes it worst.” he growled, “You and I could have been together, Aly, why go and ruin something like that?”

“It-“ she gasped, “It was…a trick.” she looked towards the sky. She tried to pull the hand away but it was like cement against the wall behind her. Her feet high off the ground and the imposter heaving and growling at her. “Y-You…”

“Yes, I tricked you. So close. You could have had everything.” a long serpent like tongue flickered from the imposters mouth and caressed Alyssa’s cheek, “Everything.” Alyssa squeaked and still couldn’t breathe, and she closed her eyes.

“P-Please…R-Robert…” she gasped, her world slowly circling into darkness, “I…ah…” her hands suddenly stopped fighting, cemented to her side.

“Wake up Aly.” the man growled, “Please Aly…Please wake up.”

Like a jolt of lighting she could breathe again. Her darkness hyper warped into reality and Robert was standing at the foot of the hospital bed. Doctor Lloyd and a nurse holding her arms and legs down.

“I need some help in here god damnit!” Doctor Lloyd shouted.

“Aly!” Robert looked startled towards her opening eyes. His arm still bandaged and was clearly in some sort of pain, his little IV rack with him and his wounds bleeding through the wraps. “Aly stop! Your hurting yourself!” the terror in his eyes made Aly’s heart break, her squirming came to a stop. And Doctor Lloyd had the time to inject her with the medication he needed to get her to stop, just in case.

“Robert…” she said, hardly noticing her voice was weak and horse. But she was crying again, tears over her face. She had terrible pain in her chest, and she noticed she was on a respirator and an IV was in her arm.

“It’s okay, Aly.” he muttered, waiting for the nurse to move before he came to her side.

“Mr. Rydelle, we need to redo the bandage your chest and arm.” the nurse gave a look to his wound. He nodded,

“Give me…a second…please.” he looked at the nurse who turned around and left. He turned to Aly, “Aly…what were you thinking…?”

“W…what happened?” she blinked; Robert was still injured but well enough to move.

“You’ve been asleep for a week. You tried to jump off the apartment building, but they managed to catch you. It’s still damaged your lungs and your head.” he said softly, “What…what were you thinking?”

“That if you died, I wouldn’t be able to go on with life.” she replied honestly. He sighed, reaching up with his good arm to stroke her hair.

“You did just fine without me before, I’m sure you can do it again.” he muttered.

“Robert…”

“What Aly?” he said.

“I love you…” she glanced at him, “I know I never say it…but I do…” The man almost looked surprised, but a grin came across his face.

“I…I love you too, Aly.” he said smiling.

So long angel (FanFic)

Mad

((-sniff- Damnit...Damn you Gabriel Mann!
Alice/Alyssa is mine
Robert is Rachz's
)

"Food evening, party for one?"

"No, I'm here meeting someone." the woman blinked, nervously playing with her top carefully. She felt a little exposed with the low black top cradling her shoulders. Her pale flesh frightened white by the exposure. But she wanted to impress him. He was surrounded by thousands of pretty women. Yet he came back and kissed her goodnight day after day. Even though their relationship had no true status, and he was free to be or do whoever he wanted. She shivered a little when a man's hand brushed her shoulder to leg her by.

"Mr.Rydelle's party?" he said with a smile, "Miss Parkes?"

"Yes that's me." Alyssa muttered, pulling her top up a little to hide more of her exposed shoulders. The waiter bowed and brought her around the bend. She looked carefully around to get a look at Robert before he got a look at her. She spotted him, taking a sip of his water as she approached. His eyes found hers and he nearly spit the water back up.

"A-Aly?!" he seemed startled by her appearance. She became nervous,

"T-to much?” she instinctively pulled the lowered cradling fabric to cover her shoulders.

“No…Not! Oh Aly, you... you look great.” he smiled pulling her chair out and giving her a small little kiss of affection upon her cheek. Now that she noticed, Robert was dressed overly fancy as well. Much more then she had ever seen, his definition of fancy was much more toned down compared to now.

“You…had something…to tell me?” she inquired, her curiosity getting the better of her. Robert smiled.

“I’ll tell you later.” he took her hand that was rested on the table. Stroking it softly, “How was your day?” Alyssa’s eyes were watching the hypnotizing movements of his thumb across the back of her hand, the blush rising high in her cheeks. They had been together (in a sense) for so long she wondered why him touching her still made her red as a school girl.

“Aly?” he blinked, his hand flinched but she didn’t want him to let go.

“Sorry, my day? It was uh…was intresting.” she smiled, “Jervis…I mean Mr. Tetch tried to…fix the copy machine…with…mustard.”

“He really is messed up?” Robert frowned.

“W-Well…he’s not…bad.” she defended softly, lowering her head.

“Aly, I really think you should find a better job once we’ve moved in together.” Aly’s gaze shot up.

“W-What!?” she blinked, Robert already technically lived with her. What could he mean by that? “Is…that the announcement?”

“No, Aly…we decided this together, remember?” he removed his hand from hers. She flushed, another blackout lead to another problem. The doctors weren’t helping because they felt threatened for some reason (this was Alice’s fault) and she never seemed to understand what Doctor Crane wanted her to do. She put on a smile,

“Y-Yes. I knew that sorry, I misheard you.” she hated to lie to him. But she hated to admit the fact she had a mental problem, should she be carted off to Arkham for her criminally insane relations with Doctor Crane and other dark creatures. “Pardon me.” Alyssa stood up abruptly turning and smashing right into a waiter with an empty tray.

“Aly!” Robert cried and stood from his seat. He took the dazed woman by the waist and lifted her to her feet. In turn she pulled herself close to him. With a little drunken smile she looked him over,

“Hey, I didn’t get a kiss hello.” she pulled him down, locking lips in a passionate gesture.

“You alright?” hr asked briefly before their lips reconnected. “Come –mph- Sit.” he said lifting her up a little to put her in the seat. He glanced about, “I suppose you’d like…to know why…I called you to dinner.” he said standing and looking down at her. Alice looked very amused, pulling down the cradling black shirt so her shoulders were exposed, hiking her skirt up a little as she crossed one leg over the other; she folded her hands in her lap.

“Alyssa…Parkes.” he said with a slight breathe, “I have known you…for so long. And then I lost you.” he said taking her hands, “I thought, I would never, ever see you again.” Alice let a little giggly squeak escape her lips and she shrugged her shoulders. He took another deep breath, “But never, ever…have I met anyone like you.” Alice’s smile faded. “I know…we had a different relationship, but spending my time with you…and such.” he took a breathe, “It’s…completely changed.” he kneeled down and reached back into his pockets.

“Robert…don’t be foolish now.” Alice muttered, curling up in her chair, fear written in her fake blue eyes. Robert pulled out a little velvet box with a white ribbon on it, ignoring the panicked signs that Alice was giving off.

“Alyssa Parkes…I want to spend…every last hour with you.” he opened the box to simple and beautiful ring, which Alyssa would have liked very much. Alice on the other hand, was a flashy girl and afraid of being tied down by her heals. She looked at Robert, hating to lose such a valuable piece to her plan, but couldn’t stand for anyone less then Jervis. Alyssa couldn’t have her way less it was with Jervis. Alice got to her feet looking down at Robert with a slightly saddened look. Not one of love, but like a girl who wasn’t getting the toy she wanted as they went through the child’s section of the store.

“I’m sorry. Robert. But we established our relationship at the beginning…” was all she said and stormed off with her little walk that wasn’t a scuttle but very confident of herself. The coat that was taken from her was swiftly put on her shoulders as she exited. None of the things that occurred in those last few moments even touched the surface of who Alice was…

Robert somehow knew something like that was going to happen. He closed the box, shoved it back in his pocket, unbuttoned the blazer and undid the tie. He placed a hand to his face with a frown across his features. Of course…they had established…he wished he never established anything in the first place. He wished that he could be with Aly, and not constantly watch her put herself in danger for that crazy hatter.

“Of course Aly…Of course.”

---

Glancing at the clock, Alyssa sat up, her head throbbing a little from the last thing she recalled. But no…she was not in the restraint, and no she didn’t get to hear Robert’s announcement.

“Shit…” she groaned and flopped back into the pillow looking up at the ceiling. That and Robert wasn’t in her bed…it made her relieved but almost a little uneasy…She sat up, “Robert…?” she blinked ruffling her hair a little, still wearing the shirt and skirt she had been wearing that night. She frowned, “Well we must have had some fun…I didn’t bother…to undress.” she got to her feet and glanced around the bed room. Something felt as if it was missing, other then Robert. “Robert?” she called again, “Robert why didn’t you wa-“she paused. Something was missing, and the hand tangled in her hair was limply at her side. The room that had Robert’s computer gear all set up in it was stripped and her living quarters looked gutted. She hardly knew she had this much space. She slowly stepped forward; she raised her gaze to the door. It was like an arrow lodged in her chest, she had no idea what to say. The room wasn’t the only thing gutted, she felt her stomach sink and crash into her other organs. A sick taste welded in her mouth and she darted to the door. She ran to it shoving it open and knocking on the door to Robert’s apartment across the way.

“Robert!” she called, but the door fell open when she ran into it. What she saw was only a reflection of her breaking heart. Tears trickled down her face when she saw the apartment…The only thing left in the apartment was the white washed walls, the tan carpet and a piece of paper sitting taped along to the wall. She walked over to it…this had to be a joke. Removing the paper she glanced down at it, watching the tears fleck from her cheeks to the paper.

I guess it’s just destiny to be this way.

I love you, Alyssa Parkes.

But it’ll never be that way.

-Robert Rydelle

Aly looked at the note. Tears shedding onto her forearms, she leaned against the wall with the note against her face arm. She took a moment before she pulled away, the ink was smeared…It was still damp! She ran to the window, noticing the moving truck still sitting there, waiting for traffic to pass by. Aly leapt at her chance to explain everything, she began to run down the flight of stairs, tripping and tumbling all the way. Her heart was racing, and she felt like she wasn’t going to make it. She felt her heart catch in her throat as she became short of breath. She threw the door open standing on the steps as the truck pulled into traffic. This wasn’t fair…what had she done to deserve this torture! The never ending drops flew down her cheeks as she broke into a sob. People on the street turning their heads down at the scene as it unfolded like a bad soap opera.

“Robert!” she screamed. But her cries fell upon deaf ears. She fell to her knees, scraping them on the concrete, bringing her hands to her face to sob into them.

Her angel had left her.

A second meeting (fic)

  • Oct. 20th, 2008 at 9:52 PM
Mad

(I blame Rachz...all the time

Robert is hers

And Alyssa is mine)

“The suns going down.” the boy said blinking as they rested next to one another against the willow tree in the park, watching the sun fall into the gold and pink sea of clouds, bracing it for its nightly descend. The girl didn’t wish to move from her spot, nuzzled up next to this boy. Her friend or maybe it was more then that. What were they really? She didn’t care. He was someone…someone that was always there for her no matter the circumstances. He was there for anything she needed, she loved that, she loved having him around. Her family loved him, she loved him…the only question was if he loved her. That was something she may never have, cautiously she sat up, and looked at him with the softest of smiles.

“I just had a scary thought.” she muttered, resting her brunette head down on his chest, closing her green eyes.

“What is that?” he asked placing his hand gently onto the girl’s head, playing with the curly brown locks. She took a deep breath.

“That I’d never see you again.” she muttered, her eyes opening to look at him, “I don’t know what I’d do without you.” she frowned. He returned the frown, sitting up with her in his lap.

“I don’t think you should think like that.” he said kissing the frown away. Her lips curled into a smiled and she curled in his embrace. “I don’t like to see you frown.” he said softly. “But the sun is going down, I’ll walk you road.” he said helping her to her feet, putting his arm around her in a brief embrace before taking his friendly position beside her with his hands stuffed in his pockets. She smiled at him, walking beside him as they looked at the appearing stars. It seemed like happiness was a bliss for the pair, they would live they’re England days out together. Or until the boy tired of her, she hoped that would not turn out to be soon.

They stopped at the street corner and the blonde took her hand and kissed it with a smile,

“I’ll see you at school tomorrow?” he said, with a smile, “And then meet you after, same place?” he said stealing another kiss on her lips. It wasn’t a trouble to lean down the eight inches to her lips; it was worth the effort in the end to see the blush cross those pale cheeks. She looked down, the curly brown locks curling around her face.

“Kay.” she said smiling, “Bye Robert.”

“So long, Aly.” he smiled with a wave he turned.

---

“Aly?” he blinked; she hadn’t been at the tree nor class for the past week now. He frowned, while waiting one evening. His fingers tracing over their names carved into the willow tree. He was now, officially worried about Alyssa. It was time to venture to her house, which she forbid him from going to less it be an emergency. Hence the reason he dropped her off at the street corner and not her house. This, he thought, counted as an emergency. He hurried down the road, first at a walk, then a fast walk, then a jog, to the point where he decided to run. Thoughts were running through his head, probabilities. She could be in the hospital, hurt! Or worse, dead.

When he reached the house he noticed that she was neither hurt nor dead. But the lot was completely deserted. He walked up the porch, knocking on the door before looking into the window to see the house completely stripped of all its furnishing. Something in his heart broke. He lowered his hands and sat on the porch steps, there was no note…there was no call…no nothing. He ran his hands through his neat blonde hair and looked out. His best friend was gone.

---

“I’ll get it, Mr. Tetch.” the blonde woman sighed. She got up from her desk when the man complained about the copy machine behind out of toner and paper. She’d just skip off to the office supply hall down the way and get some for him. It was no trouble, that’s what she was there for. To assist.

Alyssa Parkes had changed since that night nearly eleven years ago, her curly brown hair was now blonde and straightened and her green eyes were covered in bright blue contacts. She had gotten no taller then the five three she had been in the distant past, the only think that changed was her body grew and curved a little more.

She arrived at the supply room opening the door and leaving it open, stepping in the small compact room to reach the toner on the back shelf.

“Pardon! Coming through!”

The door snapped closed and darkness engulfed the room. Alyssa’s heart sunk and she carefully reached for the knob, remaining calm at all times. Her breathing was irregular and sporadic but luckily she was still breathing. She waited for a moment for the cart to pass before she tried to open the door.

Stuck.

This wasn’t a time to panic, Alyssa. She coached herself, she could handle the dark…trunk sized closet on her own, and she was perfectly capable of being calm. She banged on the door, rattling it, calling for help in her locked situation. After she wore her voice to nothing she rested her head on the door, her body quivering with fear as she kept her eyes shut tight. It was a mind of matter thing. She could remain calm till Jervis realized she was gone…Oh that tea obsessed mad man wouldn’t notice her disappearance. She opened her eyes to more darkness, nothing changing in the light from her eyes being closed. She felt tears weld in her eyes,

“Stop that, this…this isn’t that serious.” she muttered to herself. She shook the door one last time. This time the door flew opened and she toppled onto someone. Someone much taller than her that smelled…like an actual man, not like these scientist who smelled of chemicals, or Jervis who smelled of tea. It was almost relaxing to be touching with someone who smelled normal.

“Uh…Miss?” the voice rattled in her head like she had heard it before, “Are you, uh, alright there?” he said, “You’re crying.” He had closed the door and put either of his hands on her forearms to set her upright on her one inch heals. It was then she noticed where her head had been, was a slight moist spot on the stranger’s shirt.

“I-I’m alright.” she muttered wiping her eyes with her fingers, careful not to smear her make-up. She sniffed, “I…I just got…locked in is all.” she muttered. The man’s hand came to her chin, and lifted her eyes. It was when she saw the man’s face; her heart plummeted into a pit of passion. “R-Robert?” she muttered. The man was looking at her face with surprise too, he closed his eyes briefly before opening them one more. He remembered this face, he’d seen it before. The same crying face, the same excuse on how she fell in and was locked in, when a bunch of seniors had locked her in that cramped trunk. It was Alyssa Parkes, his loving little Aly. He stared for another moment.

“Alyssa?” he finally spoke, his voice was different; she didn’t recognize it with that uneasy tone. Robert had always been sure of himself. He always seemed to have that air about him, like he knew what he was talking about. “My goodness, if it isn’t Miss Alyssa Parkes, still Miss right?”

“Y-Yeah…” she stared at him. She remembered the night that her parents told her they were moving. That night she came home and the house was stripped bare, and she had no way to tell Robert that she was leaving. They left that morning, and were gone before Robert even noticed. She felt terrible, absolutely terrible for what she had done to him. Her gaze shifted downward, “Robert…about the last time we-“

“The neighbor told me you went out kicking and screaming, Aly.” he smiled at her. It was like eleven years of hell being lifted off her back all at that moment. She looked at him, tears in her eyes, “Oh Aly, don’t cry.” he muttered, bringing her into a hug. “It’s nearly eleven years and you greet me with tears?” He kissed the top of her head and she sniffled control of herself. She turned her head upwards her cheeks pink before she straightened herself out.

“I…have to get this toner and paper for Mr.Tetch.” she muttered aimlessly, “But…if…your not busy, we…could do lunch?”

“Here.” he pulled out pen and paper and leaned on the wall, “Here’s my number, and my address.”

“Why…that’s right across from my place!” she said covering her mouth. He grinned,

“Really?”

“Y-Yeah…” this was much too weird for her, “You haven’t been looking for me all these years. Because this is very scary, you show up to my work, and now you live across the hall!” she said frowning.

“I’d never, Aly. Not that you’re not worthy of stalking or anything.” he scratched the back of his neck. “When do you get off?” She turned to glance at the clock,

“At eight…depending.” she sighed. Her looked at his watch.

“How about, I come by your house at nine, and we’ll go out to dinner.”

“O…Okay.” she said a small smile crossing her lips. “Tonight then.”

“Tonight then.” he leaned over and kissed her briefly on the lips, smiled at her, and then passed her by. Alyssa stood there for a moment, bringing her hand to her lips and touching it briefly, a smile brightening her features.

“Miissss PARKES!” called Jervis in the distance, “How long does it take to fetch toner?! I could have made six dozen batches of tea by now! You take much too long!”

“C-Coming!” Alyssa said, that smile not yet wiped from her face. Was it just her, or was it just him, but it was only destiny that they met once again.

Wade out the storm (SHORT >w<)

  • Oct. 13th, 2008 at 5:48 PM
Love

(I strike again! With my ficy fic ness...because I wanted to write something cute-sauce...
Robert belongs to Rachz
Alyssa belongs to Me)

It was a terrible night to be alive if you were Alyssa Parkes. The power had been flickering. Just the light from a small candle that Alyssa had gotten as a gift from a past co-worker who did not care to spend any money on her, had now saved their little existence. It was a shame that Alyssa hated thunder and lightning, let alone the dark, and didn't seem to be any comfort when the crashing came upon their building. She sat there, in her night gown, under the table with fear flickering in her eyes. She flinched at ever sound of thunder; every flicker of lightning like a frightened child. It was embarrassing to admit such a childish fear, when sound could not hurt her, and the bolts would not touch her in this tall city. Such a childish fear, she twitched and whimpered from beneath the table.

It was hardly the time for sleep, she couldn’t bare it. She couldn’t rest her head upon the pillow. To busy shaking with fear, loud noises like gun shots, the sky was angry. Sitting in her nightgown beneath the large oak table, she wanted to cry, to weep in her misery.

“Aly?”

She flinched, covering her ears as the tears streamed down her face. She could smell the sent of an apple spice candle. Her favorite sent, lingering around followed by footsteps and a small spot of light making it’s way to the sitting room where the oak table was. Soon a face came into light; Robert crouched to look under the table to look at her. A frown on his face.

“Still afraid of this weather.” he set the candle on the chair to give them light before crawling under after her. He gestured her closer, and the tear filled girl sniffed and heaved before scooting over to him. His arms came around her and he stroked her hair, “Aly, I don’t understand, there’s nothing to be afraid of.”

The girl just buried her face in his chest, sitting in his lap with her small frame quivering at every sound the clouds cried. She looked at him with tear filled eyes and he gently kissed her forehead. He poked her nose,

“I’ve got just the thing.”  He pushed her away for a moment, getting up and disappearing, which Alyssa would have preferred not to be done. She waited, and waited, in fear that he would never return. But the soft footsteps came soon enough, and Robert crawled under with his laptop, a blanket, a pillow, and large headphones. He lifted his computer, before plugging in the head phone placing them upon Alyssa’s head with a smile. Then he began turning on the soft classical tunes to block out the scary symphony of the weather, and with that Alyssa seemed to relax a little more. He gently pulled her into his lap and put the blanket over the two of them so that she was curled on his chest. Propping his own head up with a pillow, one arm securely around her while the other gently stroked her hair. As the moments passed and he was playing Tetris with one the hand that had been petting Alyssa’s hair. He realized her shaking had stopped and her breathing had become deeper. He glanced around, looking upon her peaceful face. He smiled and thought that he too could finally go to rest. And so there they slept, under the table, wading out the storm.

Best friends? (Ficplz)

  • Oct. 10th, 2008 at 12:08 AM
Mad

(LOL . I wrote fan ficz sorta.

Pairing: RobertxAlice

From: BATMANZ :D

Robert belongs to Rachez

Alice is minez)

There was a bliss but firm knock on the door. If they were to be closer observed they were much too dainty to be male, but much too brutal to be female. They say a person’s knock is like a person’s personality. Perhaps this person wasn’t quite sure who they were. But the knocks came again, this time more violent, accompanied with a cry of frustration.

“ROBERT!” she cried, the distressed vicious tone was impatient to the tired man, just after a night out. The shouts of the angered woman rattled his head like a ringing bell, placing his hand to his forehead he sighed, getting up realizing his one night stand and run off. But it wasn’t like he minded; he looked into the peep hole of the apartment door, “Robert if you don’t open this door, this instant.” The British accent that had faded away for the past eleven years had now returned in the stressed mouth of Miss Alyssa Parkes. He didn’t want to give Ally the cold shoulder, as much as…he would prefer to go back to bed. The blonde man slowly unlocked the door and opened it. Looking over his neighbor he rubbed his eye. She was absolutely drenched, and her face was scrunched up in anger.

“Hello, Ally.” he smiled. She looked like she had decided to shower with all her work clothes on.

“I need your shower. Mine is broken, and I have to be to work soon. As do you, sir.” she said in her clearly aggravated ‘Alice’ tone. It wasn’t like it wasn’t obvious, but she was clearly not shy little Alyssa. There was a pause before he stepped aside, when was the last time there was a beautiful woman in his shower?

“Well I-“

“I don’t want any of your funny business this morning, I have a meeting with Jervis and I must look my best. I can’t STAND to smell like another man this time around.” she glanced down his unraveled self, she looked a little torn, “Maybe later.” she muttered quietly before darting towards the bathroom, locking the door. He blinked, scratching the back of his head; this was very typical for Alice. He sighed, glancing around the neat apartment before glancing at his computer. With a coy smiled her glanced at the wash room, the water flickering on. He smirked; “Technology is a wonderful thing.” he sat down at his laptop. Flicking his computer to life he rubbed his eyes waking up more and more. He leaned back in the recliner glancing towards the Wayne building just across the way. He ruffled with his hair, muttering something about that twit Jervis. But sighed, he really didn’t see what Alice did, clearly.

After moments of super speedy loading, the computer was on, and he was already filing through the several programs he had upon his favored device. Several images of rooms flickered onto the screen. He could see himself- Oh…my… he looked like a mess…ah, there was the shower. A smile slide across his face and he sat back, it wasn’t something he hadn’t seen before. He carefully ran his fingers across his lips as he watched the blonde carefully tend to each strand of her lengthy blonde hair, careful to make sure everything smelled of that luscious peppermint wash she used. She had to radiate some sort of tea smell. He loved the smell of tea, which he should be doing, not spying on his friend…but it was so tempting. He set the laptop down, heading towards the kitchen, grasping the kettle and setting upon the heating burner before moving to the recliner again, the woman carefully running her soapy hands over her pale figure. He snorted, biting his finger before picking up his head set,

“You should move a lot slower.”

“How did I know that you’d be watching.” she replied quite nonchalantly. He smirked, was he that predictable? Well this was Ally; she did deal with him more then the norm. “And I’m sorry, but I’m in a rush, your little fantasy will have to wait.” she ruffled her wet locks.

“Hm, I don’t think you should go to that meeting today.” he said softly, “I thought Jervis was going to lunch with Ella today.” he paused and Alice dug her nails into her forearm.

“That’s the VERY reason this meeting needs to happen!” she hissed, “He’s not allowed to be with her.”

“Only you?”

“Precisely!” she stomped her foot, water splashing about.  She winced poking at her harmed arm.

“You alright?” he said leaning over to see if the kettle was boiling.

“Fine.” she muttered, “Just…a little frustrated.”

“He’ll still go to the meeting without you. Who else is supposed to be there?”

“Everyone, they’re suppose to talk about work, you too you know.” she growled. There was another little peep, and she had poked at her injured arm again, running the hot water on the blood that had been drawn.

“You hurt yourself.” he frowned getting up.

“It was an accident.” she called back to the voice hovering over the pounding of the water on her head. “I just got a little angry, I didn’t even notice.”

“That won’t do.” he took off the headset.

“Oh don’t you dare.” but he couldn’t hear her, she turned off the water and grabbed the towel, reaching for the door, but it opened, smacking her in the face. Robert looked alarmed, and caught her before she fell backwards.

“A-Ally I’m sorry!” he blinked, she sighed, groaning at the sore side of her face. He scooped her up and set her down on the kitchen counter just around the corner. She met eye level with him now, the one of them closed, and most likely going to become a black eye soon enough.

“It’s alright.” she muttered softly, “I…” she frowned, he backed away to go to the freezer for a pack of frozen peas to put over her eye. He wrapped it in a wash cloth gently pressing it to her cheek then over her eye. She sighed, “I can handle it.” she took it from him, pulling the towel up to remain covered. She slouched, her hair plastered to her face. He stood in front of her, frowning,

“I really am sorry, Als.” he said looking at her pitiful state. “Want…me to get your clothes?” he asked, trying not to trigger a tangent. She shook her head,

“I give up…as long as he doesn’t go to lunch with Ella…I suppose it’s fine.” she muttered, moving the peas to her clawed arm. She frowned, “I can’t go into work with a black eye…what they would think?! I don’t broadcast my life…” she looked at Robert who merely gestured to the tea pot, and she nodded. She put the ice pack down, tired of it as Robert brought her the proper arrangement of her favorite tea. She smiled, “Thank you.”

“You’re most welcome.” he said taking a sip of his own. She lowered her head,

“’Member when we skipped anatomy.” she said softly. “And you fell in that sticker bush to get my favorite ribbon.”

“I remember pain.” he said smiling.

“You haven’t changed, even if you’re a whore.”

“Oi!” he poked her exposed knee. She giggled.

“I was trying to make a point.” she muttered poking him in his bare stomach with her foot, “You’ve always been there for me.” she said softly, “I’m sorry I never told you about my moving away.”

“It happens. But just think.” he caught her foot and kissed her ankle, “Out of all the people in the world, we met up for a second time.” he slinked his arms around her waist, “I say that’s pretty special.”

“Stop sweet talking me.” she pressed their noses together, before she kissed him.

“Mmm, what happened to this Jervis thing?”

“Hmm.” she kissed his forehead, “He can wait…”
